How did the mayor of a small town in Colorado and a North Carolina-based social worker end up being business partners in real estate? We’re glad you asked!
Several years ago, we met through another real estate professional and realized quickly that we shared many similarities. We both had left “corporate” jobs in search of more freedom and work/life balance.
We both have a strong desire to help others. We both love going to listen to live music. We both prioritize time with our amazing children. And, as our wives often remind us, we both married spouses that are much better looking than us!
Most important among our similarities: we both want to create and live the lives of our dreams. For Jonathan, that means backpacking through the most exotic locations in the world. For Greg, that means the ability to take his wife to as many concerts as possible and his kids to every major league baseball stadium. 5 down, lots to go!
We started this company as a way to better our lives, fulfill our personal goals, and help as many people as possible along the way. To do this, we constantly push each other to be the best we can be. You can see through our customer reviews and through our dedication to you.

Hey, I’m Greg! I’m the guy you’ll most likely meet when we come to see your house. I’ve lived in Greensboro with my wife and 3 kids since 2008 when we fell in love with the area.
Like a lot of folks, I was always intrigued with those house flipping shows. Most of the folks we work with have some issue preventing them from selling their house through traditional means. I remember a professor in my Social Work school program telling me “just meet people where they are and figure out how to help provide a solution”. As soon as I realized I could apply that same lesson in working with people trying to sell their home, I transitioned away from the healthcare world and into real estate full time and haven’t looked back!
I can’t wait to hear from you. While we can’t buy every house we hear about, I promise we’ll make sure we leave you better than we found you and help provide a solution.

My name is Jonathan Godes and I live in Glenwood Springs Colorado and fly here a couple of times a month searching for great homes and sellers that are looking to have their problems alleviated.
I am actually the Mayor of Glenwood. So why would a mayor of a small city in Western Colorado fly across the country twice a month to the Triad Area looking for homes? That’s a great question.
It all started two years ago when I was elected to City Council. At that time I was doing so many deals in town, that it was becoming difficult to conduct business without continually having to recuse myself during City Council conversations. In order to continue to do what I love (invest in real estate!), and to continue to serve my community in an elected position, I started looking for other markets outside of Glenwood to invest.
After a ton of research and scouting trips to numerous locations in the Midwest and the South, I settled on Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
I hope that when you give me a call to come check out your place, you can feel the same level of confidence in me and my local partner’s character that the citizens of Glenwood Springs did.
